Between auditions, castings, and the recording studio, fifteen-year-old singer Abby Ryan of Apple Valley, Minnesota is one busy girl. She goes to a school where they don’t get homework, so her free time is spent hanging out with her friends, watching TV, listening to music, and singing.

Abby is spunky, sassy, sweet, and has just finished recording her debut EP, Til The Sun Comes Up. Her music is self-described as “upbeat,” and has a fun pop vibe. She said that going to the recording studio was, “A really fun experience. It helped [me] become more confident in myself,” later adding that “It makes [me] more confident because I can do what I love doing, singing!”  The best part about being in the studio for Abby was being able to let out all of her problems and focus on her music.

EP was written by her manager, Craig Damon, though Abby did help write the song, Rollercoaster.  Her favorite songs off of the EP are BFF, Rollercoaster, and title track, Til The Sun Comes Up. The music she records makes her feel “amazing,” and she would be “really sad” without music.

So far, she’s had mostly positive experiences, including getting to record in a studio in Los Angeles, California, and shooting the music video for her song, Til The Sun Comes Up. The one negative experience Abby has had is having to give up time with her friends whenever she gets a new song because she has to “perfect it.”

Determined to succeed, Abby Ryan is working hard to make her dreams come true.
